Toys

My kids have never been big toy users. We had a toyroom full of toys that they rarely played with. Maybe 10 minutes here and there of Legos, dolls, puzzles. Since being deprived of most luxuries (such as toys) they seem very thrilled at the small kids meal toy they got for dinner tonight. A wind up animal that hops when it is wound...they raced them, compared colors, played with it endlssly tonight. My hope it that once the toys arrive in the shipment, the deprivation from all things un for 2 months will make them play for hours on end, giving Mommy and Daddy a sanity break...I can only watch Dorothy the Dinosaur DVD so many times! Maybe getting a computer at the apartment will let them watch some old favorites online...the cartoon channel here SUCKS!!!!
So, with one more plastic toy added to the rotation, I am hopful of having fove more minutes of non-confrontational peace tomorrow :)
