Life has been hectic since getting back from Kuwait. It took a few days before we adjusted our sleep. We have been busy with dance class (Saige's first recital), end of school activities, plus numerous get-togethers with friends for a last goodbye. On top of that, there has been the process of getting everything ready for the move. The cats needed to be vaccinated, flea protected, certified to fly in plush sky kennels...they should be good to go soon. We only had to buy plane tickets, no mulitple doctor appointments needed!
Today we are getting a new roof put on, one more step in the prep work to get it ready for our tenants (although, it would needed to be done, regardless of us moving or not!). The house is getting inspected for a rental license this afternoon. Next week is shipping and storing. Not a moment's rest, and I don't forsee rest in the immediate future. Once we arrive in Kuwait, we will be full steam ahead on buyng essential furnture for the new place (beds, dining table etc). I will be sure to update as much as possible...depending on our access to a computer!
